We're discussing video games in my Contemp. Mass Media class and Associate Editor of Kotaku Adam Barenblat was our guest speaker... he brought in a Wii, PS3 and Xbox360 (no pc, pfft, but whatever) and he discussed the current state of the game industry. We got to play Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and some weird PS3 title Little Big Planet. Normally he would have brought out CoD4, TF2, and Manhunt 2 for the 'violent video games' section but there was no time left at the end D:

Anyway it was sick. He had a big box of free stuff at the end and I ran down to get a CoD4 or TF2 tshirt but some douchebag girls stole the last few tshirts... they didnt even know wtf the games were. I hate 200 person lecture halls.

That's how you refer to Little Big Planet? D: The most artistically unique game to come out in generations, and it's "some weird" game? D:

On second thought... I haven't played it. But it looks awesome! ;D

No, I had not heard of LBP. I could care less about the PS3 or the Wii.

I place more importance on it because its made by Microsoft and has a stronger connection with PC gaming than does the PS3 or Wii.

Yea since we all know the PS3 can't be turned into a PC, that'd just be insane </sarcasm>

Think about it more Roxas... The PC and Xbox share more of a connection than the PC and any other console. I dont care if you can turn the PS3 into a PC, it doesnt make the gaming connection any more connected.

Technically, it would make it directly connected as turning as a PC into a PS3, the PS3 is a PC.

Roxas please, Im not talking about a direct PC Xbox connection via an OS. Its about gaming, and even you should be able to admit that the xbox and the pc have a larger connection in the gaming world than the PS3 and the PC. You'll see that the xbox and pc have more dual-launch titles than the pc/ps3 or pc/wii.

That's actually the other game that came to mind when I was crafting that sentence in my mind. ;) I'm well aware of that title. Very cool concept.

Also...
